ABOUT THE CLUB

Welcome to Trowbridge Wanderers Football Club. Trowbridge is the County Town of Wiltshire situated in the West of the County only 8 miles from Bath.

Trowbridge is a developing town and the residents are growing each year, which allows us to facilitate boys and girls from the town to play their favourite game at all age groups. We currently have 300 + boys and girls registered to play football from U6s to U16s boys and U10s - U14s girls with the opportunity of older boys progressing up to adult football with one of our two mens teams.

TWFC have been able to provide playing and coaching opportunities since 1994 at a variety of locations in Trowbridge but now have excellent facilities at Lambrok Fields the home ground of our older age groups,
Staverton Playing Field has also helped house some other teams in the club, and over the next few years shall see the venue becoming another central point for the club.

TWFC have gone from strength to strength over the years since its creation with teams now playing in league and cup competitions all around the county. We have also entered competitions and tournaments nationally and in Europe, thanks due to very willing coaches, managers and supportive parents.

The success of the club is down to the hard work and dedication of our managers and coaches, who are all qualified with the FA to work with young people. They promote the clubs ethos which is to provide a safe and friendly environment so that all the players can enjoy football without the pressure to win at all costs.
We recognise that sport plays an important part of the development of young people, here at TWFC we work hard to allow the young players to grow into the best that they can be, the importance of being in a team and to represent themselves, their families and the town at the highest possible level.

The family atmosphere extends from the players to their families and is widely promoted at every occasion and we welcome young people from all areas of our community. The prime emphasis is on the players having fun and enjoying the great game of football.

TWFC is working towards becoming a Charter Standard club, which means that we will be assessed by the Wiltshire FA on our ability to provide facilities and coaching to a very high standard when working with young people.

Trowbridge Wanderers offers the chance for your child to play football and to gain essential life skills in the process but in a safe and friendly manner, why not come along and see what we can offer.
